A "Journal of Paintings" by Jon Conkey, Themeworks was a "one-year-long" record of my progress in the art of "oil painting", and an attempt to paint 365 paintings in one year. I love this painting. Each spring I love watching the hills here change colors from week to week. This week they remind me of dusty purple. Last week they were sage green.

Butterfies are showing up everywhere around here Monarchs, TigerSwallowTails, Mourning Cloaks; everytime time I see one, I think of your students and their project.
