Here is a favorite spot of mine near Ocate, NM. With the month near half over, I need to think about doing some night scenes (this month's theme), the night skies have been fairly dark and nothing has jumped out at me to paint. This morning however, I awoke at 3:30am and watched the thin cresent moon rise over the horizon soon followed by the sun and her pink and red storm sky.
